Kiwok joins international consortium applying for research funding

Kiwok has joined a consortium of partners from Finland, Sweden and Türkiye for a proposal to EP PerMed on the following call:

“Test and Demonstration of Multimodal data approaches for Personalised Medicine”

The call aims to:

• Bring together enterprises with clinical actors, including healthcare provider, patients and researchers, to test innovative solutions in controlled real-world settings to address clear needs in managing multimorbidity.
• Fund innovation projects in human health that focus on multimodal data usage for personalised medicine approaches providing more efficient and personalised management of patients with multimorbidity, having at least two chronic diseases that require management.

Our consortium consists of the project coordinator and academic partner Metropolia, Finland, a part of Health Proof Helsinki; SaraWell, enterprise, Finland; Kiwok, enterprise, Sweden; Linköping University, academic research, Sweden; and BioTandem, enterprise, Türkiye.

The consortium has submitted a preproposal for a three-year project integrating, testing and demonstrating partner solutions in remote patient monitoring, digital twins and lifestyle guidance.

For Kiwok a positive outcome of the proposal would mean both collaboration possibilities with life science colleges and funding for further development of our solution BodyKom. The scoop of the call aligns perfectly with Kiwok objectives to be able to offer personalised and integrated solutions for monitoring and management of patients with heart failure, COPD and diabetes. The test and demonstration possibilities the project offers validation of the Kiwok solution in preparation for upcoming certifications.
